Leaves!!!

We went over to my parents house on Saturday and helped out with some yard work. The girls had so much fun jumping in the leaves. It kept them busy for a couple of hours!
Marlee has to keep me at an arms reach at all times... she won't let me out of her sight :) I had a blanket spread out for her and everything, but she didn't last long there. She loves her mama too much ;)

Pumpkins

We had a Halloween party in our ward a few weeks ago. We put our pumpkins in the pumpkin carving contest. The girls picked out the designs... and I got to carve them. Can I just say... pumpkins smell REALLY bad!!! Yuck!

Jaidyn's pumpkin won 3rd place for most creative!

Halloween

Jaidyn had a cute little Halloween program at preschool. They sang Halloween songs and got goodies. Jaidyn was a beautiful butterfly :-)

Taylor had a Halloween parade at her school. Love the hair Tay! She's Jasmine... with a hair cut:)

On Halloween we had a party at my mom's. Taylor is stirring the witch's brew. Marlee loved the smoke, she kept trying to eat it... so funny!
We all dressed up this year! Ben-baseball player, Me-pink fairy (the wings were long retired by this point), Taylor- Jasmine with short hair, Jaidyn- butterfly, Marlee- red fairy (she was tired of the wings too). Nice pose by the way... Ben ;)

Busy, Busy, Busy!

We have been super busy this fall! I don't even have time to update the blog... as you can see. Taylor is playing basketball! She is having so much fun! Daddy is the coach :)
(Taylor is #2)

I have been busy sewing... but not my usual stuff. My friend asked if I would sew some baby bedding for her. I've never done anything like this before, so it was a new experience for me! I've made the bed skirt and bumper pads. Next on the list... curtains. I'll be sure and get a picture of the baby's room all decked out, when I'm done :)

I also made grape juice for the first time! Jaidyn was my big helper, she loved picking the grapes.
Here's the final product!
